The City of Fontana
The City of Fontana was incorporated on June 25, 1952. The City and its Sphere of Influence (SOI) encompass an area of approximately 52.4 square miles and contain a population of approximately 188,498 people. It is located in San Bernardino County, approximately 50 miles east of Los Angeles. Due to its geographic location, the City is identified as “…the crossroads of the Inland Empire” (Fontana Chamber of Commerce, 2008).
How Fontana Began
Fontana began as an agricultural community in 1913 and became a thriving industrial town by 1942 due to the opening of the Kaiser Steel Mill on the outskirts of town. Kaiser Steel remained a primary source of employment and revenue until 1984 when it ceased operation.
Since then, the City has continued to grow rapidly due to several factors, including:
- Development of Kaiser Permanente Hospital (one of the largest medical facilities in the region)
- Unparalleled population growth stimulating major residential, commercial, and industrial development
Since the year 2000, Fontana has been one of the fastest growing cities in Southern California (Los Angeles Times, 2003). In 2008, after reviewing data from the United States Census Bureau, the National Center for Education Statistics, the National Center for Health Statistics, and the American Bar Association, Best Life magazine deemed Fontana the 24th best place to raise a family in the United States.
Of the first 100 cities chosen by Best Life as outstanding family-oriented communities, Fontana was the fifth best place to raise a family in the State of California.
Prince Fielder is truly one of My Guyz of all my guyz!! I love what he represent for the sport. I think black players are still a scarcity to this day and there talent doesnt go as far mentioned as others, especially as superstars and Prince Is every bit of superstar in his league. This is undeniable now in his signing this week of 214 million dollars for 9 years. Im super proud of him for cashing in where he belongs and also doing it in such a legendary fashion playing in Detroit as his father did despite their relationship difference. Prince is a BIG MAN! and I appreciate what he does for the sport! Prince has been nothing but consistant Power and clutch since 2006 hitting 30 + homers in every season since then with a batting average
Prince Fielder by the numbers
Fielder, 27, hit .299/.415/.566 with 38 homers, 120 RBI, 95 runs and 36 doubles last season for the NL Central champion Brewers. He finished third in MVP voting and also took home the All-Star Game MVP. Though Fielder is a large man, he is as durable as they come. He hasn’t played in less than 157 games in a season since becoming a regular. He played in all 162 last season, following up seasons where he appeared in 161 and 162 games, respectively.
Prince Fielder finished third in the NL MVP voting last season; it’s his third top-four finish in the past five seasons. Here’s a look at Fielder’s career regular-season stats with the Brewers:
I think writing is a skill. I think like any other skill it must be developed. My first college English course has given me an appreciation for writing as a profession as well. My English professor took his work and his profession very seriously and even personally. I appreciated his discipline. Now for my self I have also began to intensify my writing , both as skill and a profession.
But What I would like to convey of writing is the FREEDOM of it. Writing’s only cost is time. I believe I am falling i Love with the time I spend with writing. I feel like writing nurtures all of my selfishness and caters to me completely. And I love it. Its like having a completely understand and unbias friend. Writing has been my best friendship in the last year of blogging. Writing is a great contribution to my hold on sanity. I feel my relationships have suffered with craziness– My relationship with writing however has grown with it.
Through writing I think I’ve grown trust in friends, lovers, business , and trust in MYSELF. Writing allows you to be completely honest and transparent to the fullest of your ability. And I love IT! I LOVE WRITING. I am in love with writing! It may be absolutely crazy to converse with yourself, but to write to yourself I so peaceable and distinguished.
Writing has enabled me to have a Loving relationship with MYSELF. I am able to counsel, console, and control myself all without a single condemn. I am free to be all of me. I am able to understand me. and I am able to Love me. As a writer, I am my favorite writer. Through writing I allow myself to be my own bestfriend and It truly sets my spirit free! I feel paradise and freedom when I write I never want to stop. I want to grow it.
The art of writing is the art of discovering what you believe. — Gustave Flaubert

Paterno legacy damaged by scandal, but not erased
For Joe Paterno, the impact is incalculable, the people he connected with extending far beyond the players he coached for 62 years at Penn State, the last 46 as head football coach. Paterno always tried to be the giant who walked among the everyman both in the school’s greatest moments and, it turns out, in its worst.
This is a complicated passing. What was once the most consistent and basic of messages – honor, ethics and education – seemingly lived out as close to its ideal as possible was rocked Nov. 5, 2011, when a grand jury indicted Paterno’s former defensive coordinator, Jerry Sandusky, of multiple counts of sexual abuse of children.
Many, including Penn State’s Board of Trustees, believed Paterno could have and should have done more to stop Sandusky, especially after allegations of misconduct arose in 2002. Within days Paterno was fired from the program and school to which he’d become synonymous.
Now, a little more than two months later, he’s gone for good, a bitter, brutal ending for an American original.
He was the winningest college football coach of all time, compiling a 409-136-3 record. He won national titles in 1982 and 1986 and recorded four other undefeated seasons, including consecutively in 1968 and 1969.
He was a bridge from a simpler time to the cutthroat business college football has become, somehow serving as both a progressive force (he believed in players’ rights, a playoff system and welcomed advancements in television) and a stubborn traditionalist (the Penn State uniforms remained basic, he never learned how to send a text message and he still used old-school discipline).
My “cousin” Pierre is really a cool m’fukka! On top of that homie is brilliant! I think his cool comes from his brilliance. “P” been one of my favorite customers at the barber shop for about 5 or 6 years now. I really feel that my progress in life is directly related to the loving kindness that people have shown for me. And such is the case with Pierre and my schooling.
I was REEEAAALLLY having a hard time in College. I felt all by myself, lost, confused, slow, and really was having difficulty relating to anybody in any class from teachers to students, To the point nobody would talk to me (especially girls). So this last semester P made sure I got my class the correct amount of units and we ended up taking an English and theatre class together.
I think this semester with P may have been truly pivotal in the pursuit of my associates degree in Business. Im an excellent business mind but a terrible general ed student. I’m brash and somewhat confrontational with teachers and anybody that has an oppinion on my work lol. P had to pull my brakes off a professor a couple times and Im glad he did. lol. I really appreciated being able to adapt his approach to school, class, teachers, students, people, and everything in regards to college from homework to quizes to extra credit. And if I did’nt say it already his perspective is cool as fuck. Like Supper COOOL. lol. He doesnt worry about a fuckin thing ever. He takes care of the things that he knows he is responsible for to the fullest of his capablity and doesnt worry about anything after that. I thought that was dope. I dont know how manny years older I am than he, but P, is my BIG HOMIE!
I think my ability to deffer to better judgment is excellent quality I exercise regularly. Im very smart,Im very Cool. but theres always someone Smarter, Theres always someone cooler. P is Him. and I just want to express to my guy the fullest of my appreciation for his friendship, guidance, and example of person he is. Im extremely proud of the person that I’ve watched him grow to be and I wish him all the best in his direction.
I Love Players that play the WHOLE GAME! Baseball is missing these type of guyz. My Guy Barry Larkin is the Epitome of those “WHOLE GAME” type of guyz. So im extremely excited to see such a deserving Man and stand-up ball player inducted into the Baseball HALL OF FAME!!!
Reblog- In his third year on the ballot, Larkin received 86 percent of the vote Monday – nearly 20 percent more than second-place finisher Jack Morris – and easily surpassed the 75 percent required to be elected to Cooperstown. Larkin received 62.1 percent of the vote last year and 51.6 in 2010.
Larkin joins Johnny Bench and Bid McPhee as Hall of Famers who spent their entire career with Reds.

Larkin wants to include his hometown in his big moment.

I dont think “REAL” Love can Be lost. I think you figure out it wasnt real. This is my perspective. Real Is always real and not subject to conditions or situational. If you truly love a person you love what you Believe is authentic substance of that person. If Love is real and These thing that you believe are actual, there is No Love Lost Ever. ReAL Love is a CONSTANT and therefore can Never Be LOST. If its Real Love its always Real LOve and if its forged or unauthenic it will definitely always dilute .
real shit always real and fake shit always play out. It either is or it aint.
I tried for short , direct and clear, does that make sense? what do you think of Love Lost?
