Greyland White Sox – Next Practice
Last Practice –
Last Practice was rained out but some of the players were still able to make it to the Greyland Warehouse facility on Rialto Ave. for an Indoor practice.
Andrew, Shame, Bobby, and Famous were able to continue to work on “Ball Control.”
Ball Control –
Ball Control will be the focus of the Pinto White Sox team throughout the season. Catching, Catching, Catching, Catching, and Proper throwing are the most important skill on this team. Each player will absolutely be required and expected to catch confidently and consistantly.
At this point Each player on the team has been given a brief coaching on the proper mechanics to “White Sox Throwing” (upward to downward) and “White Sox Catching” (Outside-Gloveside).
I will continue to give players my best coaching direction of these “Ball Control” principles throughout the season.
